Another fanboy. If you knew jack about software development, you'd be more careful about throwing clock speeds around (they certainly aren't the way to determine performance). The point I was making (1 year ago btw) is that the more expensive out of order processors in PCs are far better at executing complex branching code that game-code uses, but the in order processors that the PS3/XBox use are not so good at executing branching code, so there's a lot of misses, stalls and fuck ups.

There not in order? The PPE can decide to send code to either of the SPEs (depending on code) Current CPUs run at an average of 2.5 GHz. The Cell has 9 cores that run at 3.2 GHz, did you know that if the core runs at a certain speed it sends data/ code at the speed or are you plain stupid.

If you want to put it that way let us compare the specification. 1 PPE and 8 SPEs (PS3) 1 Single Core (Wii) Sounds like the wii in "THEORY" should cost 8 times less (8 SPEs)

Frame rate issues are only due to shitty ports from the Xbox 360.

How does the Wii have better specs?
