However, both aren't revolutionary aircraft, but the best you could ever build for the market they are made for. Surely, the A380 is better than the 747-400. The technology and efficency is far beyond. Even tho it's bigger, it has a better fuel efficiency than the 747, even with the same number of passengers. Movingrock08 ::: Favorites Concorde only flopped because it wasn't allowed to break the sound barrier over land, as it could break windows. This isn't the same thing at all. Its a Jumbo Jumbo Jet that can carry more people cheaper than having them all go on 5 different flights in smaller planes. Bigger is easier to control. The only problem I see for now is that there are only select airports it can land in, due to the large amount of runway needed to land and take off.
