nlgfxger ::: Favorites you cannot compare the 787 with the A380. Both aircraft are to fulfil completely different demands and needs. However, both aren't revolutionary aircraft, but the best you could ever build for the market they are made for. Surely, the A380 is better than the 747-400. The technology and efficency is far beyond. Even tho it's bigger, it has a better fuel efficiency than the 747, even with the same number of passengers. Movingrock08 ::: Favorites Concorde only flopped because it wasn't allowed to break the sound barrier over land, as it could break windows. This isn't the same thing at all. Its a Jumbo Jumbo Jet that can carry more people cheaper than having them all go on 5 different flights in smaller planes. Bigger is easier to control. The only problem I see for now is that there are only select airports it can land in, due to the large amount of runway needed to land and take off.
