RxBandits9 ::: Favorites 2007-11-29 15:17:31 its a metronome. to make the different layers line up exactly you need to have a designated tempo. if you try to do it be ear, the likelihood of the layers not lining up will be a lot greater. __________________________________________________

MrSmithProductionz ::: Favorites 2007-10-04 21:38:14 The only time I can think of that they wouldn't use a clicker, is if they had a piano playing without any accompanied instruments. Also if anyone knows how to detect tempo, you will see that 95% of the industries music lines up perfectly to an even tempo (ie 95bpm). Some producers try to throw off remixers by making it like 95.545 bpm. __________________________________________________
CizreK ::: Favorites 2007-10-04 21:08:20 Im buying A Axiom 25 and I already Have A Monome 40h. Plus Ill Be Getting More With Possibly A Midi Mixer. __________________________________________________
buzzboy612 ::: Favorites 2007-10-04 20:22:52 Thank you Mr Smith. And CizreK, when would a studio producer play music live? __________________________________________________
MrSmithProductionz ::: Favorites 2007-10-04 13:01:54 Even in Multi-million dollar studios, with live musicians, clickers are still used. This is simply because it is the engineers job to make the track sound as tight as possible. When you are playing live, it's a TOTALLY different thing and any artist in the industry will tell you that. __________________________________________________
CizreK ::: Favorites 2007-10-04 12:16:30 Yeah learn to do it without it, otherwise youll suck live. __________________________________________________
MrSmithProductionz ::: Favorites 2007-10-04 03:10:40 it's called playing to a tempo __________________________________________________
