As for God Save The Queen (Or King), this was written to commemorate England's crushing of the Scots, so no honest Scot should partake in the singing of this. Though my mother is English, my father was a proud Scot, and my allegiance is with Scotland, not England, even though I was born in and live south of the border. My father was proud of his heritage and I follow in his footsteps. __________________________________________________
