Then there was Courage the Cowardly Dog on Cartoon Network. Disney was always visually stunning, whether he was trying to portray horror or joy. Though, I think it'd be more disturbing if Alexander was so paniced that his panic completed the transformation right there and he began to bray. Btw, notice how Lampwick quickly lost his clothes.
