Like this UF student, she hadn't broken any laws. (Montgomery law didn't require that individuals have to give up their seat and she was sitting in a "colored" section before it was reassigned.) But I don't think he even broke the time restraints for the Q&A session. I agree the kid was acting obnoxious and yes, they did ask him to step away from the microphone, but why was he being muted anyway? It was wrong for them to try to mute him in the first place.
