Hackman has a gun because NBC mandated "equal arms" so it didn't appear as a cold blooded killing, though you feel for Crockett, his wife and unborn child were killed by Hackman, a man he let off death row by mistake, because Hackman thought he killed his wife, when in reality Hackman's gun fired the fatal shot instead of Crockett's. Great ending to a great show.

HAHA, I love this show but where did the bad guys gun come from? And you do see the guy moving when Crockett walks away.

Yeah, Heckman was a S.O.B and Sonny was right to light him up. Even if he did kill him in cold blood, I don't believe he could be prosecuted for the crime since it wasn't committed on U.S. soil.

Damn! Crockett's a bad mother (shut your mouth!). I was playing this on really big speakers and when Sonny fired the shot I flitched! I wasn't expecting him to shoot, but then again, I could see why he did. That guy had horrible teeth!

Mille grazie, Enzo386! This was where "Vice" started to re-claim the spark that had dropped off a bit during the fourth season. A real "wow!" of a scene, foreshadowing the unbelieveably harrowing mini-trilogy that followed, starting with "Mirror Image". It's *very* cool that you've got a link to "Miami Vice Chronicles", too --- best MV site on the internet, and has been for years!

The best scene in the history of television - period. Took me forever to find this, thanks to the upload.

LOL....funny. As Crockett walks away, you can see the ever-so-slight movement of the book as the actor breathes.
