Description: It is a well known fact that japanese eat raw fish. But the other day, the fish wasn't just raw, it was still alive!!! While the flesh was neatly cut in slices of Sashimi, the head was still moving!! |

peetswee ::: Favorites ya bryce and perfectly normal to eat you, while ur alive slowly eat ur arms one by one hearing you scream, and cutting you with a knife and fork. But we wont kill you, we will eat you while ur in so much pain being care not to kill you. Thats my culture if you think that way bryce. Its totally normal to me, it just a different culter! 07-09-08 22:30:11 _____________________________________________________
SinnerJesus ::: Favorites Yeah, I saw that on Maximum Exposure. They fry it and serve it while the fish is still breathing when you eat it. It's just reflexes at that point. They do that so the customers will know the fish was still alive when it was prepared. I wish they would do that with lobsters because I know the bastards serve me dead ones sometimes! 07-09-06 20:03:04 _____________________________________________________
neoroxx ::: Favorites it is derrived from an Aicient-Chinese delicacies where they fry the fish's body while its still alive, if they killed the fish during the frying process, it is deemed as a failure....btw, they still do this today, its just rare... 07-09-04 13:53:12 _____________________________________________________
PANGYWANGG ::: Favorites i don't understand y all westerners like their food cooked and wont accept raw or cold food? i personally think sashimi is delicious and really healthy...........better than fish and chips 07-09-03 12:35:22 _____________________________________________________
xxazndrgnxx ::: Favorites Right on man. =D 07-09-02 03:35:39 _____________________________________________________
bryce14593 ::: Favorites stupid lame ass people saying its barbaric and torturous. its just a differnt culture. thats how they do it over there. like how some people eat dogs. its totally normal to them. 07-08-31 15:45:30 _____________________________________________________
xxazndrgnxx ::: Favorites I'd eat it! I'd eat it's eyes then go for the cheek muscles. And it was in a sense alive, but it's not like the people could help it. It's like octopus, the tentacles still move for up to 3 hours! They can't help that it's still alive. It's just how that animal's body works. 07-08-25 20:27:52 _____________________________________________________
penguinsquishy ::: Favorites I agree with you, however having a nervous system does not constitute the ability to sensate pain. Other things are required, such as a central nervous system, opioids, a change in reaction to pain-stimuli when administered an anaesthesiac, etc. 07-08-25 05:28:04 _____________________________________________________ |
